My only story The Startup wanted to publish was my first ever Medium story.

I was completely new to this back then. So, I self-published it after the first rejection from the originally intended publication. Luckily though, it got curated and The Startup left a note saying they want to include it in their pub.

Little did I know about the power of the pubs, I refused.

Hey, don’t get me wrong. I refused because there was another pub who wanted to publish it too, even before it got curated and I already agreed with them. That’s where the story currently lives now.
